I've done my searches and see a few people here have installed them but no one has given any input as to longevity and how they work after the install.
I want one for my '92 Explorer which has 33's for it and may possibly go to 35's someday, right now it is daily driven and I want a selectable locker so my wife can drive it in the winter on snowy roads without ending up in the ditch (hopefully). I want to know if there is any odd noises driving around town (unlocked) or do you just forget it is there? Also when the locker is engaged does it stay locked around corners and such on 100% traction surfaces?
