Audio Gurus Please Help!

So im upgrading my sound system. I'm buyin from a friend of mine who said he could get me a good deal (his dad owns a car stereo shop).
neways, basically I'm buyin a kenwood amp, 10" kenwood sub, and an awesome kenwood head unit.
Im not exaclty sure on the models yet, but when i find out what they are ill post. But until then, im wonderin about where to put the sub and amp.
I want as much space in the back as possible. Any of u guys have a similar setup? Could ya give me some ideas on placement and such? pics would be nice too

Make sure you listen to that Kenwood sub before you buy it, and compare it to others. I listened to one not too long ago and wasnt very impressed with it. The amp and deck should be good tho. One sub in a small sealed enclosure shoulnt take up very much space, and if you mount the amp under the seat, it will take up even less space. If you really want to conserve some space, you can get a special enclosure from Q-Logic or JL or another brand that goes into the rear quarter panel, and is totally hidden. Stereo upgrades

I agree with VairKing on checking out that Kenwood Sub! In fact I would think about going with a different brand amp as well. If you can get good deals through your freinds stereo shop I would look into other amps.....being as how you have access to other equipment...you should be able to get a good deal on brand name amps/equip too! Rockford Fosgate/MTX/PPI are just a few of the better brands. You will definately feel and hear the difference. Good luck.

I'm gonna have to agree with these guys when it comes to kenwood stuff. Its decent, but if you have the "hook up" you might wanna check out a pioneer HU and sub and maybe a different brand of amp.
