Audio type question, please help, wife is on my back!

Hope some of you audio guru's can help me out of a jam.
Installed a DVD system in my wife's mountaineer, the component type, everything works great, my problem is this..The system uses a FM modulator for sound, Like I said it all works fine except for DVD sound, but I cannot get the other radio stations to come in, tried playing with the two adjustments on the modulator with no change, thinking it has something to do with grounding?? Please, help me save face in front of my wife (she wanted good guys to install!)

With this system what does the stock antenna plug into? Whatever it is, make sure that connection is good.

The stock antenna plugs into the modulator and the modulator plugs into the back of the radio. I will double check the antenna conections

If all the connections are good and the stock antenna stuff was ok before then my guess would be the new equipment.

Antenna connections seem fine, Lucky for me my nieghbor works at Good Guys audio
