Australian Explorer owner needing help! CM adivce..

G'day from the other side of the world.

I own a 2002 manual Ford Explorer XLT and like many am experiencing 4x4 Control Module issue. The problem is that it is a rare car here and hard for me to even find the part or a place that knows what it is. I pulled out the CM and the part number is 1L24-7H417-BA. I am aware that some of the first runs were crap and have changed but I cannot find out what the new part number might be. Any advice as to what it might of changed to would be appreciated. A look on eBay.com shows only 1 available on that part number and won't ship to Australia.

Alternatively can anyone link a website that might help or has the part.
