auto 2001 exporer sport question on xmission

Ok get this, im not sure if this is normal operation but i would like to know.

When i stop from driving say like at a light, then when i go to accelerate thru the intersection i get a slight delay and a tiny jolt before i begin to move forward..

is this normal?

Try greasing the rear driveshaft slip yoke. It sometimes causes a small thump when starting or stopping.
