ok can somebody explain this to me.
My 4x4 options are AUTO, 4x4HI and 4x4LOW
So if my rear wheels skid out in auto then the fronts automatically engage. But if my back tires are spinning over 50Km/h then the fronts would engage at over 50 as well. According to my 93 you are not supposed to engage 4x4HI over 50km/h. So if i started to spin out at 55km/h as an example, then it would auto engage and Then my explorer just "automatically" F****ed up my 4x4 components without me asking it to. This doesnt make sense to me.
Is there a computer that tells it not to engage at over 50K?
