Auto to Man Trans New Question

I searched this forum for the answer to this. After installing the pedal assembly along with the master cylinders for both brake and clutch I noticed the pedals don't line up, the clutch pedal rides about an inch higher then the brake. Has anyone else experienced this too?

i just went and looked at my '91 xl 4 door with the factory 5 speed and the clutch pedal is easily 1 1/2 inches higher than the brake pedal. my '88 bronco ll is the same.

Thanks for checking that out for me. I thought the were supposed to be the same height, but I guess not.

when we swap from manual to auto, we just took out the clutch pedal haha,.
