So, ever since I put the in channel ventshades on, my auto up causes the windows to go down half way. I've tried a few relearns I found on the web (mostly YouTube's that say work but don't). Is there a way to actually relearn the pressure for safety or to disable it completely? Has anyone here had any luck?

As far as I know, there is no way to do a pressure relearn or to disable the feature which I'm guessing is a "safety" feature. It is what it is. The in-channel ones have caused issues occasionally but seem to be the preferred ones. What brand are the vent shades?

The brand is AVS, I assume it's the original Auto Vent Shade. Ya, I had them on my ranger, the in channel, but I had an aftermarket alarm with windows up/down that I could program the auto feature. Was hoping that someone here has tried something and it's worked like the YouTube videos show.

If it was possible to disable the auto up/down feature, it should be in the Settings. Have you checked your manual?

I do not want to disable the auto, just the safety portion or relearn the pressure with the ventshades.
