Hi All, I am new to the forum. Have just purchased a very nice 2005 Explorer 4.0L SOHC V6 with 82,600kms on the clock. I am based in Doha in Qatar so would appreciate the benefit of all your experience.
I noticed that my 'standard factory entertainment system' has an AUX button. Does anyone know if I can plug in a cable into the back of the radio so that I can use an MP3 player or iPod? According to the Owner's Guide I have the "Premium Satellite Compatible AM/FM Stereo/Casette/Single CD/MP3 - Late Availability" entertainment system in my Explorer......it does have a AUX button so I am assuming that you can connect an AUX device or a cable to connect an AUX device.
By the way...does my Explorer have a model number? There is no badge on the back, other than the Explorer badge. My VIN number is 1FMZU72E85ZA74844.
