Avic D3 questions 02 Explorer limited.

Hey guys, just recently bought an explorer after selling my old car..I installed my AVIC d3 unit into it and "most" of it seems to be working fine. i need to try the Gray/Black wire for the VSS ..


but i do have 2 questions.. where are most people installing their nav antennas??? mine is behind the glove box on the only surface that i could get the antenna to stick too.. i also wanted to know if people have been successful getting the stock sub to work with an after market unit.. i thought i had connected it correctly.. but i don't feel like it's getting any power.

The vss wire may be in one of the radio harness. I'm not sure what color though. And if you got the premium sound wire harness for your car there should be a small squre plug for the sub you have to wire up.

i think the VSS wire is the grey/black one back there.. i got the correct harness, but i need to see if the wiring is correct.. gonna try to move the antenna further up
