Greetings, I'm new to the board and to the AWD/4x4 world so please forgive my ignorance. For posterities sake I'll let you know that I did do a search and was not able to find the specific info that I was looking for.
I'm working a building an AWD Ranger using a 2.3t and hopeully a t-5 World Class tranny. this will be a street only truck and I would like to be able to lower the truck a few inches after everything is said and done.
I'm going to be starting with a 98+ 4x4 truck with a 4.0
1. What year V-8 t-case what be the most desirable and would be able to hold up to 350-450 horse?
2. I'm sure someone out there has adapted the t-5 to one of these or a similar t-case; any info here would be greatly appreciated. I've found a few post's that mention this but nothing detailed.
I understand there will be a lot more involved, some of which I will just have to figure out as i go.
All you help is greatly appreciated.
