I'm curious if there's any possibility of working out a deal for a group purchase of 'Bama Chips' products? Doug, is this something you might be open to? I think you could get a LOT of people interested in it. I'm not sure how things work over here, but a group purchase with a discount for members of the site could net a HUGE number of units sold for you. If there was a way of partnering it with the site (which I'm sure would require Rick's approval, of course) that could work out great!
I know on the F-150 board I frequent, they organized a group buy of Superchips Microtuners that netted over 300 units for the F-150 alone. Similar deals were offered on the full line of products for other applications, and the company that sponsored it was literally SWAMPED with orders for a month. The more people that bought them, the bigger the discount became. (0-50 units sold was $X savings, 50-100 was $XX savings, and 150+ was $x.. savings) We all got what we wanted, the vendor did a TON of business and, like I'm sure you would do, has continued to stand behind the product years later for customer support, problem, upgrades, and re-flashes. You get a pile of loyal customers, we get out tuners at a decent discount, and everyone walks away extremely happy.
What do you think? Is it possible?
