battery light keeps coming on while driving

i have 07 explorer sport trac have had sence 08 no problems with vehicle until about three weeks ago battery light started coming on while driving have installed new battery bench tested the alt checked battery conections and grounding conections for loose or corroded connections still having problem. dont want to take to dealership because of lack of confidence please if any sujections let me know Baffeled

Could be a defective battery or alternator. I know you said you tested them but it could be defective. It also could be a short somewhere in the circuit or a connection that doesn't seem loose but becomes loose as you go along. You can try upgrading all of the power and ground wires, I have 0 gauge on most of mine under the hood, mainly due to all of the aftermarket accessories and what not. It honestly sounds like something is up with your alternator though
