I tried searching and couldn't find. Soooo, the past couple months my battery light has been coming on when it's at around 4 or more rpms. I went to autozone and got it tested and everything seemed to be just fine. A weird thing was, I changed my plugs and wires and for awhile my battery light would stay on the whole time until I hit around 4 rpms!!! What the?? I'm confused. That went away after a couple days and now it's back to what is was doing before. I have no idea how this stuff works, any help would be greatly appreciated. Want to catch the problem before it could get worse.

When mine did that it ended up being a bad alternator. Eventualy you will start noticing it at any RPM over 3000. Did Autozone load test the alternator?

Yea they tested the alternator, battery, and something else I forgot.

My money is on the alternator. If it were my truck I would change it before too much AC (alternating current) leaks accross its diodes and begins to fry your electrical systems.

Ditto on the alternator. I had similar symptoms and waited too long... The Alternator ended up taking out a cell on my battery and had to replace THAT as well as the alternator.

Cool, thanks guys! Will do this A.S.A.P. might as well upgrade the wiring while I'm at it also.
