I want to run a yellow top battery just for my system, but I need to know how to wire this up. Or do I just ground it out and wire the amps to it? Any info is appreciated.

if you just ground it and wire the amps to it, it will work for a little while then it's dead. you need to buy a battery isolation block to hook up to the alternator. then hook the batteries to the block (1 battery to each end) so the alternator will charge them. you can keep the optima in the back by your amps. i like to make a custom enclosure for the battery that is incorporated with the subwoofer box, it looks nice like that.
good luck

you can buy one at any car audio shop (a real one, not circuit city or best buy). if you buy it there, some shops will install it cheap and fast. so you can drive away with your system BOOMIN'

Personally I'd use a high current relay from Stinger or anohter company instead of the isolator. Isolators can sometimes cause a voltage drop of up to 0.7 volts (which is a lot).
