Hi I'm Cyndy and as the title of this thread states I've been coming to this site frequently & decided to join! I'm and owner of a 95 Explorer Sport (and I love my big baby) and my husband is an owner of a 99' XLT explorer. So basically we have a "His" and "Her" Explorer!
Lately we've both been having problems with our driver-side doors. When I use the remote or keypad to open the locks, there's this weird loud somewhat grinding (?) noise as the door unlock. My husband's truck has similar issue; his front driver-side door doesn't even unlock although all the other doors does - he would have to go around to the passenger side and pull the handle from the inside to open it. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
BTW: How come there are no girly smiley faces to select from (lol)?
