best mounting place for Bluetooth mic 04 xls

Hey guys, does any body know the best place to put a Bluetooth mic in a gen 3, I am installing a new stereo in my 2004 XLS, and the install is fairly straight forward, Im just wondering the best place to mount the mic, thats easy to run to the back of the head unit, and keeps the cable hidden?

Dog I would look into placing it on the steering column, and the cable can go straight back in to the dash area.

It's not a 3rd Gen, but that's what I did with mine.

I put mine right above the rear view mirror. Ran the cable over to the pillar and up behind the headliner. That spot helps if you answer the phone with the windows down, less wind noise.
