Was checking out the front end today and also the haynes. It mentions that if your front end has plugs instead of grease fittings, to remove them and thread in the greaseable ones.
Is there a special tool to remove them with? All I see is a plug about the diameter of a pencil eraser and about 1/32nd of an inch high. It's perfectly smooth in the top with just the slightest edge.
I tried a really sharp-edged standard screwdriver and tapping it, attempting to get under the little edge of the plug but no dice.
Any better way of removing them?
