Hello all:
I tow a trailer with my 05 Mountaineer AWD V8 and my gas mileage gets killed due to bad aero with the trailer. So, my biggest problem is that tiny gas tank, and wonder if anyone has altered or found a way to expand the gas capacity?
I see that spare tire takes up a ton of space underneath, anything that can be done to put a second tank in, or does anyone have a bigger tank that fits in the rear? Anything would help, I have to stop every 160 miles when towing and it drives me crazy.
