I have a good deal on an 89 Bronco II Tcase and related parts to swap into my 1992 X. It is a manual shift and since my electric shift doesn't work, I figure why not. Is it the sme T Case? Will it fit without mods?

The BII used the BW1350 case (except in '90 I believe), whereas your X uses a BW1354.
The main difference between the two is that the 1350 uses a splined output to the front driveshaft, while the 1354 uses a u-joint yoke.
My guess would be that you could use it, if you also used a Ranger or BII front shaft (splined), but don't quote me on that.
