What is the proper/best way to bleed air from the cooling system after doing a coolant flush?

Sorry if this is a repeat topic, I am new to the board.

(I have found a few threads that talk about it but no details. And a search on "bleeding air" doesn't bring up much.)

the best way I found out is removing one of the heater hoses on the firewall that go to the heater core. It purges most of the air. Procedure, fill up the coolant with the hose disconnected.
