Ok so here is whats going on I'm about to pull the body off my 94 explorer 4x4 because its beat to hell and rusted out, the question I have is do I have to pull every connector off the motor or are there a couple of "bulk head" connectors similar to the one that goes into the truck for the dash, so that I can remove the body with out damaging the harness? I can see a few connectors up by the evap canister near the one for the dash but i cannot tell exactly what they go to. Has anyone else done this before that could give me some tips or tricks to making the process go alittle smother?

There are 2 bulkhead connectors on the drivers side of the firewall, removing the front inner wheel wells will make this easier. If you have the electric shift transfer case, there is a connector under the floor board, under the drivers side seat, and in front of the gas tank.
