Hello to everyone out there I just got a hand me down 2004 Mountaineer and both of the Auxiliary power points are out. I have checked the fuse under the driver's side consul and it appears to be fine. Where should I check next??

My cousin you gave me the car said they just quit working not to long ago..

Please help I'm in a new city and need to be able to use my Garmin or nav on my android and I have to have power for those to work.

Welcome aboard!! :salute:

The fuse information is contained in the owner's manual. If you don't have an owner's manual, Dead Link Removed.

There are 2 fuses related to the power points in the battery junction box, located under the hood behind the battery:

Dead Link Removed

Fuse #7 is a 20A Maxi Cartridge Fuse labeled Power Point #2, Fuse #9 is a 20A Maxi Cartridge Fuse labeled Power Point #1:

Dead Link Removed

Check those 2 fuses and make sure nothing is stuck in the power points causing it to short out.

Hope this helps out. :biggthump
