bought for 600 bucks... need help with problem! 1992 3.0

Just bought a 1992 3.0 ranger, it's a great-running truck except when you turn hard right, it pops out of gear...

It is a 2wd automatic, 160,000 miles. Rebuilt trans supposedly.

Any ideas? Anyone have any experience with this?

Interesting.. I would check all the linkage on the steering column, frame and side of transmission and check transmission mounts to make sure nothing is loose and or binding when you make that right hand turn. That is where I would start.Other than that I have no other suggestions.

I am not very mechanically inclined, how can I check linkage I at least sort of understand that lol
