Just finished up the lift on my explorer and noticed on the passenger side the coil spring is bowing forward and out, Is this normal or should I be worried about this?

The springs are 6in skyjacker and a 1inch tall stack of washers with homemade extended radius arms

Try turning the coil (1/4 - 1/2 a turn) so that the end of the coil is sitting in the back of the coil bucket and not sticking out of the front. From your pictures, it looks like the next wind on the coil is possibly being pulled up into the coil mount by the j-hook you used to secure the coil. You can drill a hole in the top of the mount and use a small exhaust ubolt to secure the coil into the coil bucket, look in my registery, I use this method to secure my coils.

Yes, its natural because the beam travels on a radius and in a perfect system the springs is meant to compress vertically. Like above, try turning it a little to tune it out.
