Brake "Emergency" sensor and Trouble Lights

I got an emergent warning for brakes with Trouble lights tonight while driving 82 mph. I clicked the "ok" button and the message and cleared, but the top two yellow lights stayed on, one being a vehicle with wavy lines under it, and the other one with the wavy lines and "off". At the bottom of the screen, was the Brake warning in Red, with the exclamation point lit and the P lit. I pulled over and tried to find the message again, but could not. I eventually turned the car off and back on and all was cleared. I drove another 30 miles without incident. I can't remember what exactly the brake warning message said.

2015 Explorer XLT, just under 5100 miles.

Perhaps a brake fluid level warning? Thats about the only idea I have at the moment. Check your brake fluid level and see if its low.

FYI: The top lights are for stabilty control and traction control.

Yes, those warning lights were for the traction control system. The 'brake' light is the parking brake indicator. The 4WD versions use the brake system for the traction/stability control, which would explain why they would have been turned off if there were an issue with the brakes. Like mentioned above, I'd check the brake fluid level.

It's under warranty either way, so it wouldn't hurt to take it in, other than them saying they can't recreate the issue.

Had this same thing happen to my 2014 XLT. 1 month after it's first service, pulled in to the garage and the parking brake light, ABS light and traction control light all lit up. Checked break fluid level and fuses, all good.

Took it to the dealership and the connector at the ABS module was faulty. Replace and fixed. Not sure it this was due to the service a month ago, but.

Thanks. Was scheduled for Oil change which I did in Casper WY. Drove to Billings MT and no issues. Will watch it.

Happened again at 11,500, nearly the same scenario. Also got a warning when I parked it and put on the e-brake yesterday. Taking it into the dealer. Warnings include "Service AdvanceTrac" and "Check Brake System". Will update after dealer experience.
