Hi there,

I have to replace my master brake cylinder, flush/bleed the system, replace the the rear brake shoes, hardware and retractor and adjust/lube the emergency brake cable.

I know that you need to replace the master cylinder before flushing the system, however, does it matter if I replace the master cylinder before or after the shoes?

Also, should I flush the system before or after changing the brake shoes?

I would replace the master cylinder, replace shoes, then flush the system. Not that it would matter much if it was before or after the shoes. I would do it after just so that when I was done flushing the system, the truck is ready to hit the road.
