Brake light problem

I have a 02 ford explorer sport 2 door the left rear turn siganal/stop light does not work. I changed the bulb I check the fuse I am now lost the front one works fine and the tail light works fine(tail and stop in same bulb 3157) please help I am going crazy tryin to fix this thing thanks in advance

Welcome to this forum! Maybe there is a problem in the socket or on a connector leading to the socket? Use a test light to see where there is power. Check your ground wires in the rear for corrosion. A rust inhibitor (anti-oxidant) gel should be used on these connections.
