So, I have a 1995 Explorer with the information center. A couple days ago it beeped at me saying that a brake light was out. So, I went to advance auto to pick up a bulb and one of the employees in the parking lot looked at the taillights when I hit the brakes and the driver side bulb was out. So I bought the bulbs, and then continued to receive the error message each time I started it up the rest of the day. That was saturday. However today, monday, I started it up and there was no message. The driver side brake light worked again.
I replaced both the bulbs this evening. But, I was wondering if any of you have ever had this happen before. I am in Michigan, so I'm suspecting that something may have gotten wet. However, I kind of want to know what happened so that the brake lights don't go out at a less than optimal point.
