Never seen or heard of such a thing. But I thought we had an issue with the addition of brake control and tow package by the previous owner. Called the previous owner. The drivers turn and brake wont work unless the steering wheel is in the highest tilt setting. No, I'm not making this up. I work at an RV dealer. But I'm the parts guy, not a tech. They deal with hitches, brake controls, etc. all the time. But they had no idea either. Has ANYONE else ever seen, heard about, or experienced this? I have lots of other questions but this is the most pressing. I even had to buy an elite membership even to get some response. Got trann issus as well. thanks in advance for any info.

Thanks

Thank you so much for that. The pictures and instructions were awesome. Hardest part was getting the top cover off. Turns out there isn't any 'nice' way to do that part. A 7mm socket or nut-driver, a T15 bit, and one each flat and phillips heads. Again, thank you so much.

Had the same issue. I bought and spliced replacement pigtails and chased many feet of wires but finally checked the MFS harness and boom! There it was, 2 wires pulled out of the harness. Luckily, several donors reside @ my local u-pull-it. I cut the harness with about 10 inches and spliced into mine about inches more.

I had the same problem a few years ago. I added an inch or so to the wires using solder and heat shrink. No problems since.
