Well I was pulled over a week ago for having my break lights out. Turns out, the break lights are only out when my lights are off, the third break light on the rear window does work though. When I have my lights, or even just my day lights on, they work fine.

I did some searching on the forums for possible solutions, and saw someone recommending I switch my break light switch. Went to the dealership bought the part and replaced it, still don't work. I Tried changing the fuses, nothing. I really need to figure this out before my repair order is up, any ideas!?

The signal and other tail lights work fine, just not the brake lights.

Did you try replacing the bulbs?

does anyone have any idea what the problem might be cause im having the same problem.

the brake light bulbs are two in one.
They have two fillaments ( sp?)
it is quite common for one to be burned out and not the other.
New bulbs and you should be ready to roll !!!! ( or stop as is the case :) )

i changed them allready and it didnt fix my problem

if you have a trailer connection, the problem could be there
