I have an Alpine V12 Expert amp that runs (300wRMS x2 or 600W RMS x 1). It is pushing an Earthquake Magma 15 subwoofer(dual 3.2 or 3.3 ohm voice coils). When I hook the sub up bridged with a 6.6 ohm load, the sub constantly moves no matter if the volume is turned up or not. But if I put it on one channel or the other it plays fine........is there something wrong with my bridged channel? Need help soon. Thanks.

What are you saying? That it works when bridged but not when in one channel?

Both stereo channels work fine. The sub can be hooked to either one and works fine. But when I hook it up bridged.....it makes the sub vibrate without even the volume on or up.

only thing i can ask is that, do you have it hooked up right? 1 pos one channel, 1 negative other channel, you wired it up in series so......just check your wiring i can make a diagram if ya want....good luck

Everything should be fine........Ive been doing this for awhile. A diagram would be great to double check with if its not a problem for you. Thanks.

Does the amp have a crossover selector? and if so is it set to low?

It does have a crossover selector......but the last time I fooled with it I turned it off. I use my Pioneer Premier deck to control the x-overs.

Do you think the crossover would make the sub vibrate even if the volume is turned all the way down? Thanks.
