So i was at discount tire today getting my tires rotated and when they put the car down to torque it, the rear right strut SNAPPED, the cup part that holds the spring in placed just ####in snapped!!!! so i had to order a new strut tonight . I ordered just the monroe SENSA-TRAC. anyone heard in good feed back on these? How hard is it to remove a rear strut? any write ups?

There is like 1/2 ich before it rubs with 265-75-17 hahahaha

So i took the tire off this morning and actually looked at it with a light, and it wasnt just the strut. It was also the spring!!!! when i jacked it up the spring was in 5 peices, WTF. I have some pictures ill post up l8er. anybod heardof this happening to anyone else?

Didnt happen to me, but its been talked about before. Don't remember the link, if i find it i'll post it. I have used Monroes before on several trucks/cars and they are great. If your only replacing one, you may want to keep them all the same or at least in pairs. Not sure what would happen if you mixed different brands on rough roads. I don't think there is much of a price difference between OEM and the Monroes.
