Build date and starter Question.

How can I find my explorer's build date. Also, I think my starter solenoid went out and $20.00 is better than $55.00. Starter spins but wont engage. Its off now if a part# will help.

There are a number of sites where you can enter your VIN and they will give you all of the information about your specific vehicle.

I've used FordEtis before and got a list of good information on a vin number -- but it hasn't worked in awhile. Maybe it works if you log in/sign up. And I didn't have to do that previously.

I believe that you have to use Windows 10 in order for it to work properly (to make sure you have the most recent security updates). I find this very annoying. What should Ford care what OS you use? I don't know if there are any work-arounds or not. I will try later with the latest Firefox out of CentOS and see if it works that way.
