bumper replacement dilema

i wrapped my front bumper around a deer the other night and am now looking into a full replecment piece, but i'm having a ***** of a time finding an anything online that sells or even talks about aftermarket bumpers for gen 1 exploders any links or advice would be helpful

Yeah, bumpers for first gens are kind of a pain... if you're up for going with a pre-runner style bumper you can try James Duff... JC Whitney might have something else well... Another option is looking for a front bumper for an 89-93 Ranger, and possibly a BII... The Ranger bumper will fit for sure, although I'm not exactly positive on the years... Otherwise, get a custom one made. If you want to go with a stock look, just pull one from the junkers.

I have a friend of mine that is looking to start a side job of building bumpers and sliders in the evenings in his garage. He built a really nice bumper w/swingout for his Blazer and I think I'm going to have him build me a bumper w/swingout for my 93 sport. I'll post pics when I get it done and maybe Explorer bumpers and fabrication are a good niche for him to get into since everybody seems to only pay attention to Jeeps.
