After I get done driving there's a burning smell behind the radiator. Checked all the fluids and there good. Also thought it might be the brakes but the smell isn't near the wheels only the radiator.

Belt?

The belt looks ok , I say ok because if you look very very closely there is microscopic cracks in it. Although it doesn't look worn. This burning smell has also been going on a while now , If it was the belt I think it would really be worn out by now.

Maybe the power steering pump?

Hmm , how would I go about checking that?

sometimes a slightly leading rad hose can make that smell....the hot coolant and outside of the hose can smell like that...usually bottom rad hose

Go to the relay box on the passenger side fender, and pull the big black relays and make sure of of them isnt melting.

Mine did it and there was burning smell for sure.

To be honest, it could also be some oil coming out of the valve cover and hitting the exhaust manafold. I have the bruning smell all the time, but I also have very slight leaking valve covers and I just write it off to that....

On mine it might be something else, but with the small amount it is, and how hot the exhaust gets, well, I feel pretty sure about it. When the oil is a small amount hitting something REALLY hot, it smells more like burnt plastic then burnt oil to me, when it's large amount of oil then it smell more like... well.... burnt oil.

Something else to consider...

This is why I said check the power box...my blower motor relay ate the yellow plastic thing on the bottom.

Cruise control?

Doesn't work. lol

It smells like burning coolent but my coolent isn't leaking though. The smell comes from behind the grill. I mean I guess it's gotta be the radiator but theres still coolent in it so I don't know.
