Has anyone put Bushwacher cut-out flares on the REAR of an Explorer?
I ask this for i was thinking: I know that it could be done to the front no problem. But then on the back of a 4dr you could move the front leaf spring hanger back 2", therefor moving the wheel back 2" also adding longer shackles would be needed. Then you wouldnt have to cut any from the front of the wheelwell but, jsut from the top and back (and more from the back at that too). That way you could run bigger/wider meats and thereby extending the wheel base from 111.5" to 113.5".
Also a new (longer) drive shaft and additional work would be needed and this would work better on doing a "spring over" converstion too.
I know it sounds a little crazy but what do yall think?
Thanks, Qxa47e
