I am currently looking for an used explorer to build-up for and D.D + a weekend Trail truck. My old 4wheeler was and 91 4x4 4.0L dana-35 8.8" with 35's and it worked great but didnt have much room inside.. Ive since sold that truck and am looking to replace it with an explorer.
What should i look for when buying and used one?
Body wise ----- what are spots to check for Rust?
xlt,xl, eddie baure,limited ? whats the diff?
I know all come with 4.0L dana-35 and 8.8" were
gearings different for different packages?
did any come with a manual t-case? or are all push button?
Milage? does it really matter that much? well to me NO because replaceing an tired 4.0L isnt a big deal and they are easy enough to come across i know when i sold my 91 the 4.0 had close to 300'000 K and still ran strong so i'm not really concerned on milage
next question is did any of the 90-94s come with the v8's?
anything else i should know let me know thanks
