Hi all,
I am from Torbay in SW ENGLAND I have just bought my first Explorer
1997 4.0 SOHC V6 4x4. I had it for one day having covered 47 miles when it succumbed to the dreaded cam chain rattle. ...
It has 93000 on the clock but otherwise is as new! (even smell 'new car')
So I'm now needing to fix it, New toforum so finding my way around.
My manual says engine removal is necessary but am sure I have seen that the front can be done in situ?
