Are you hearing chirps, and squeaks or sounds like a loose belt there one minute and gone the next?
It could be coming from your camshaft position sensor.
The way to know without any doubt is to cut a short 2 foot section from a wooden broomstick handle. When the elusive noise begins make all moves cautiously and slowly carefully place one end of the wooden broomstick on the sensor and carefully listen at the other end, you will hear exactly the same noise you have been trying to track down for a week or more transmitted to your ear.
The wooden broomstick can help you with tracking down many other questionable noises too.
Be careful !!!
