Can a 4.0 SOHC PCM be tuned for a 5.0?

Like the title states, can a SOHC PCM be tuned for a 5.0 motor? I know they are totally different motors, but I am tossing around the idea of swapping just the 5.0 in place of the 4.0, leaving the existing trans and everything else but not sure if the pcm in the 4.0 is even capable of controlling the 5.0

None of it will cross back and fourth. Not the PCM, transmission, transfer case or engine harness they are all different. If you get a complete engine / trans /wiring and computer from a 5.0 explorer it will swap right in and be plug and play.
