Hello first thank you for taking the time to read this...
Ok, I have a 2005 Ford Explorer -- recently in a wreck--
However the car remained driveable.

Without going into the long story the fuse box -- in-- the car was tampered with. Could -- any-- fuse -- in-- the car prevent the car from starting if removed ? Or not put back properly ?

When I read the schematic I see things such as flashers, internal lights... but nothing that would prevent the car from simply starting.

Yet, again I know probably less than even my wife about cars.

Thank You for any info you can provide.

it is most certainly a possibility, but if I were you I'd start by checking the inertia switch located in the passenger footwell, if its been in a wreck then the inertia switch most certainly needs to be reset. following hiat, using the schematic of fuse placement and replace every fuse. also check the fuses and relays in the power distribution box under the hood and replace as necessary. If everything is replaced/checked properly, then it could be another issue.

good luck
