Can AC kill engine? Still having trouble :banghead:

Alright, I posted the earlier thread "Dies while driving". Today I went running around and it died four times in about 20 minutes. I would have to turn the AC off to start it again. It normally idles at 750rpm (w/out ac) and 500 to 600rpm (w/ac). I finished the rest of my running around without the AC on. As soon as I got home I pulled in the garage and turned the AC on and off several times and of course it didn't die then:banghead:. Very confused . Is there anything that can cause the AC compressor to kill the engine like that? Is there anything electrical I need to ohm out or check voltages on? 68viper

May want to try cleaning the TB (Throttle body), and the IAC valve. Check the IAC operation also.

IAC- Idle Air Control , the little cylinder attached to the upper intake on the driverside, behind the TB.
a site search will provide a bunch of info. on how to do it similar probs.

Good luck
