Can corroded Windows frame be repaired or exchanged

Below picture is for the left rear windows. Note that the metal frame in the middle of the picture is sticking out at the bottom part of it. It actually corroded inside the rubber protectio nbecause when I press on it I feel that it sounds like many small pieces inside. Although I haven't noticed but I am concerned about the potential leak if I leave it as is. The truck is 98 EB V8 at 11.2K miles and is still running very strong. I would like to ride it for many more years.

Anyone had experience in reparing this?

I fail to see what you are talking about. Are you describing the rear of the drivers window? That is the window channel, which is replaceable.

I guess that is actually the driver side rear door channel.

Yes, it is the driver side rear door. The black bar in the middle of the picture is the focus. Is that replacable? If yes, is it called windows channel? It is the black vertical bar in the middle of the rear door window.

Somehow I can't find it in RockAuto.

Thanks dcdyd, I went out and looked at mine, both sides rusting out. Along with the rocker panels. Truck came from Nebraska, think I will trade it for a rust free Arizona truck in the near future. I need a pickup anyway.

I Can't find it on LMC truck either. I am stuck now. Has anyone exchanged this Winsows channel? If so, can you share any notes on how this can be done? Thank you!
