Can Electric Liftgate be Added After the fact

OK so I get home from work and the wife says " I want to see about adding the Electric lift gate option to our 2016 XLT. Anyone know if this can be done after the fact? And how much cost?

No it can not, factory option only.

I would say for the right amount of money it could be done, but a trade might be considerably cheaper I feel your pain, we got home and realized we did not have the garage door opener in the sun visor. Why would that not be a standard option or at least part of the minimum option say 200 and up. I have not purchased a car for years that did not include that, never even dawned on me that it would not be there.

Hell no to a trade. I love the vehicle too much. I just won't let the wife drive it.
