Can I wire 2 Dual 4 ohms to a 1 ohm load?

I thought i could only wire 2 dual 4 ohm subs to a 4 or 8 ohm load.. but i suppose i was wrong..

While i'm at it, how are audiobahn subs, my friend has one and it pounds, but ive heard mixed reviews..i'm looking at these

yea thats right...you can wire them to a 1 ohm, 4 ohm or 16 ohm final load

or 2 individual loads of either 2 or 8 ohms
