Can somebody help me out please?

I have a 98 Explorer Sport 4x4 V6 SOHC, I tore the instrument cluster out to replace the bulbs, while putting it back in I managed to snap the shifter cable. Does anybody know if I can fix this without buying a new cable(its Sunday everywhere is closed and I want it done). Any information is greatly appreciated.

I Dont think there's any easy fix so you'll probably have to wait till the dealer opens.

There was an easy fix after all, I just remade a loop and hooked it back to the shifter. Just doesnt indicate that Im in 1st but I dont use it anyway
