I meant IRMC, intake manifold runner control.
There has got to be a way to delete the butterflies but get no CEL without doing a tune. Is anyone familiar with the electronics inside these units to know if there is a way to "trick" the ecu into thinking its working fine? My best idea ive come up with is to leave the box plugged in but to cut the arms off. But im not sure if it senses resistance to know that it is working correctly.
Anyone else mess with these have any better ideas?
