can you change the final drive ratio through tranny rebuild?

hi there, my O/D light is flashing occasinally, and i'm thinking a new tranny is one the way, if not, at least a new tranny cooler, and maybe some upgrades (can one upgreade the 5-pd auto? - what parts?). But i was wondering if i can change the final drive ratio as well? I'm running 3.55 with 33's.....i know, i know...

Do you mean change your OD ratio?

Your Final Drive= rear gears.

You should run 4.10's with 33's

No. There is nothing in the trannie that can alter the final drive ratio wich you could change on a rebuild.
