Can you learn anything from the VIN

I was wondering what info you can learn from the VIN and can you get this info from this site. I had a GM truck and could get information from the GM forum.

Here's a pretty cool site that will allow you to download your original window sticker. This provided me with a lot of useful information as I purchased my Ex used.

There is a 'sticky' in the 'Order Status' forum on how to find your window sticker. There are 2 links shown but the 2nd one doesn't seem to work.

Maxwell18 - You can also checkout Ford's website. They have a VIN lookup area which will decode your Ex for you.

BTW- Congrats on the purchase of your 2011 Ex. I purchased my 2011 XLT back in February.
